Colossians 1:21-22

Scripture – Observation – Application – Prayer also known as S.O.A.P. is a way of studying scripture. These entries will provide a quick overview of scripture and offer a mechanism for studying the Word and prayer.

Scripture:

“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. In the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight.

Observation:

  1. Unreproveable means not doing anything wrong that might attract reproof or correction.
  2. We were once strangers to God, but Jesus’ death allowed us to be blameless despite the inherent sin that exists within us.

Application:

I must keep my mind on God and His love for me.

Prayer:

Lord, I look to You. You know the path You designed for me. Help me to focus on who You are. I submit myself to You. Lead and guide me. In Jesus name, Amen.
