Scripture – Observation – Application – Prayer, also known as S.O.A.P., is a way of studying scripture. These entries will provide a quick overview of scripture and offer a mechanism for studying the Word and prayer.
Scripture:
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
Observation:
We represent God because He died so we wouldn’t have to. God put the wrong on Him who did no wrong so we could be put right with God.
Application:
I serve God because He first loved me by sending His Son to die for me. As a result, I’m unctioned to show and teach people about Jesus.
Prayer:
Lord, I pray for help to transform into the person You called me to be so I can speak boldly for You. In Jesus name, Amen.
