These craftsmen — potters working with clay — are honored in Scripture simply because they did their work faithfully in service to the king. For the believer, every honest vocation carried out for God's glory is sacred service, whether or not it carries prestige or recognition. Whatever work God has placed in your hands right now, it can be an act of worship when done as unto the Lord.

"There they found rich, good pasture, and the land was spacious, peaceful, and quiet; for some Hamites had lived there formerly."
In the account of Simeon's clans seeking new land, God leads them to a place described as rich, broad, quiet, and peaceful — a provision that exceeded what they had before.
