Scripture – Observation – Application – Prayer also known as S.O.A.P. is a way of studying scripture. These entries will provide a quick overview of scripture and offer a mechanism for studying the Word and prayer.
Scripture:
“And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.”
Observation:
- The Lord made a provision for His people and it was the blood.
- The blood protects me.
Application:
The blood protects me and shows that God made a provision for me even before I knew I needed one.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the blood. Because of Your blood, I have life. Your blood frees me from the sin that seeks to destroy me. Thank You for the blood that washes my sins away. Because of Your blood, I’m made clean and new. In Jesus name, Amen.
