Scripture – Observation – Application – Prayer, also known as S.O.A.P., is a way of studying scripture. These entries will provide a quick overview of scripture and offer a mechanism for studying the Word and prayer.
Scripture:
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
Observation:
Belief in God supplies everything we need. We receive when we come to Him and believe.
Application:
I must submit myself to God because He can provide my daily sustenance. The world has nothing to offer me.
Prayer:
Father, help me to look past what I see and focus only on You. You are the bread of life and with You every need is met. In Jesus name, Amen.
